瞑想椅子の条件とは、リラックスして、長時間、座りつづけられること。二本の角のような背もたれは、体側のリンパに沿って設計されていて、上体の緊張をどこまでも脱力させる。
癒されながら、研ぎ澄まされることを両立させた「レダ」の造形は、ながく座りつづけるほどに、身体の内奥に潜在する感覚世界を、豊かに開いていくことでしょう。
The condition for a meditation chair is that it should allow you to relax and sit comfortably for long periods.The two corner-like supports of this chair are designed to align with the lymphatic system on the sides of the body, helping to completely release tension in the upper body.
The design of "Leda," which balances healing with a sense of sharpened awareness, will enrich the world of sensations that lie deep within your body the longer you sit in it.

”レダ”から派生したダイニングモデルは、後ろ姿の美しいプロポーションに因んで、美の最上級を意味する伊名を冠しました。
The dining model derived from "Leda" is named after an Italian word that signifies the highest level of beauty, inspired by its beautiful proportions when viewed from behind.

CHATHEDRA「カテドラル」
”ベリッシマ”から派生したアームチェアは、建築的な構造の風格と、座る人の居ずまいに威厳に満ちた印象をもたらすことから、「聖堂」の名が与えられました。
The armchair derived from "Bellissima" is named "Cathedral" due to its stately architectural structure and the dignified impression it conveys to the person sitting in it.

HELIX「ヘリクス」
身体の中心に「聖なるもの」を感得する技術は、坐の瞑想を大事にしてきたアジアの諸宗教に広く通底する伝統である。脊椎の一つ一つが自然本来の配置へと整えられるとき、文字通りに、天地をつなぐ中心軸が、自身の体内に自覚されるのである。
遺伝子の二重螺旋が生命のあらゆる情報を記録しているように、背骨の螺旋「HELIX」は、その人の生きてきた命の痕跡を、ありのままに映し出している。
The technique of sensing the "sacred" within the core of the body is a tradition that resonates deeply across the various religions of Asia, which have long valued seated meditation. When each vertebra of the spine is aligned to its natural configuration, the central axis connecting heaven and earth is literally perceived within one's own body.
Just as the double helix of DNA records every piece of information about life, the spiral of the spine, the "HELIX," reflects the traces of an individual's lived existence, exactly as they are.

縁を結ぶ中心に
古来ヨーロッパ社会においてテーブルは、つねに社交の中心に置かれていて、
人と人との距離感を適切にたもち、人間関係を円滑にまわすための役割をはたしてきた。
使用する目的や人数に合わせて、テーブルが最適な形にデザインされると
空間の印象から、人間関係までがおおきく様変わりします。
In ancient European society, the table has always been at the center of social interaction,
playing a role in maintaining an appropriate distance between people and facilitating smooth human relationships.
When the table is designed in the optimal shape according to its intended purpose and the number of people,
it can significantly transform the impression of the space as well as the relationships among individuals.

四辺に弯曲をほどこした天板を囲むと、みなが微妙にテーブルの中心へと向かう。遠すぎず、近すぎない、適切な距離を保てると、不思議と食卓の会話がはずむ。
When surrounded by a tabletop with curves on all four sides, everyone subtly lean toward the center of the table.

すべてが食を深く味わうためにデザインされた、所作と感覚の形。
物事の「道理」を「具」える日本古来の「道具」の思想を
西洋文化の文脈のなかで再構成したときに
このような形が導き出されてきました。

"The grip at the fingertips, the fit when held in the mouth, the balance between the handle and the tip—
Every aspect is meticulously designed to enhance the deep appreciation of food,
embodying the form of gestures and sensations.
This design draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese philosophy of 'tools' (dōgu),
which unites functionality and wisdom,and reimagines it within the context of Western culture.
To savor each bite with care is
to honor the lives sacrificed for our daily sustenance.
正しい道具の扱いは、所作をおのずと美しく整える
"The proper handling of the right tools naturally beautifies one's actions.“
力の方向をわきまえると、秀逸な切れ味を発揮する木製ナイフ。
肉は切れても、皮膚は切れることのない刃物は、
食卓から闘争のイメージをとり除く。
When one understands the direction of force,
the wooden knife demonstrates exceptional sharpness.
It cuts through meat but does not cut through skin;
it remove the image of slaughter.
「文明化の過程」Über den Prozeß der Zivilisation
文明史家のノルベルト・エリアスは、カトラリーを使った食作法の発生を
ヨーロッパ社会における文明発祥の原点とした。
周囲の人を不快にすることなく、生活に秩序をもたらす、
立居振舞いを身につけること、
それこそが文明化した人間の条件なのである。
"Norbert Elias, the historian of civilization, identified the use of cutlery and the refinement
of dining etiquette as the cornerstone of the emergence of civilization in European society.
To foster harmonious coexistence while avoiding discomfort to others

Corpusの茶道具は古来伝承された茶道の型を「身体の研究」という視点から再解釈し、手に馴染む造形はもとより、水の流れや香りの立ち方など、それぞれの道具の持つ身体性が、豊かな調和的感覚へと導かれることを意図してデザインされました。木製の器がもつ温かさも、陶器とは一味ちがった茶の湯の愉しみをもたらしてくれるでしょう。
The tea utensils by Corpus reinterpret the traditional forms of the tea ceremony from the perspective of 'body techniques.' Designed with the intention of leading users toward a rich, harmonious sensory experience, these tools not only feature shapes that fit naturally in the hand but also embody physicality in elements such as the flow of water and the diffusion of aroma. The warmth of wooden vessels offers a unique enjoyment of the tea ceremony, distinct from that of ceramics.
高台茶椀「朝 顔」 材：山桜 70×120 ㎜

花のように広く開いた茶碗の縁を「朝顔」に見立てつつ、胴体のふくよかさは茶筅のストロークを十分に確保して、茶の香りと泡立ちとが見事にたちのぼる作品となっています。
The wide, open rim of the tea bowl is designed to evoke the image of a morning glory flower, while the bowl's full-bodied shape ensures ample space for the strokes of the chasen (tea whisk). This design allows the aroma and froth of the matcha to rise beautifully, creating a truly exceptional tea experience.
木茶椀「小 狸」欅 63×108 ㎜

掌に吸いつくように膨らんだ茶椀の胴体を狸の子どもになぞらえて。その形は、茶椀の中で豊かに香りを回します。縁のくびれは口元へピッタリ馴染む天目茶椀の意匠を踏襲しています。カジュアルな薄茶の仕様でも高貴な感覚を想起させる形となっています。
The gently rounded body of the teacup, which seems to cling to the palm, is likened to a baby tanuki.(Japanese raccoon dog). This shape allows the tea's aroma to circulate richly within the cup. The curved rim follows the design of a Tenmoku tea bowl, fitting perfectly against the lips. Even in a casual setting for thin tea, its form evokes a sense of refined elegance.

The cylindrical tea bowl, "Dragon Vessel“
円筒形の筒茶碗は湯が冷めにくいことから主に冬使用。茶の味と香りを器の中に濃密に閉じ込めて、龍のように力強い流れをからだの芯へと摂り込むようなイメージを含んでいます。それでも縁は微妙に広げて、春を待つ花のように。
The cylindrical tsutsu-chawan (tube-shaped tea bowl) is primarily used in winter, as it retains heat effectively. It concentrates the flavor and aroma of the tea within the vessel, evoking an image of drawing a powerful flow, like that of a dragon, into the core of the body. Yet, its rim is subtly flared, resembling a flower waiting for the arrival of spring.

木材の中でもっとも白いとされる栃の木は、根や節の周辺に大理石のような縮杢が出る。薄く削るとそれは貝殻と見まごうほど美しく、夏に使用される平茶碗を白栃で拵えると、なぜか帆立貝のイメージが浮かんだ。きめの細かい繊細なお茶が立つのもこの平茶碗の特徴。
Among woods, tochinoki (horse chestnut) is considered the whitest. Around its roots and knots, it develops a unique marbled grain reminiscent of marble. When shaved thin, its surface becomes so lustrous it resembles mother-of-pearl. Crafting a flat tea bowl (hirachawan) from white tochinoki for summer use somehow evoked the image of a scallop shell. The fine, delicate foam of matcha it produces is also a distinctive feature of this tea bowl."

基本的に濃茶器の仕様だが蓋の面積を広くとることで、薄茶の点前にも対応した形となっている。
Although fundamentally designed for koicha (thick tea), the shape has been adapted with an enlarged lid to also suit the preparation of usucha (thin tea).
白栃の木杯 63×87 ㎜
CALIX of horse chestnut
2002年に発表された木杯は、天目茶碗の口当たりと高い高台とブルゴーニュグラスのように香をまわすふくよかさと、熱湯を注いでも熱くなることのない木材の断熱性と、長く愛されてきた定番作品です。湯呑みとしてだけでなく、小鉢、猪口など、さまざまな用途にご利用できる形となっています。
The wooden cup, first introduced in 2002, has remained a beloved classic. It combines the smooth rim reminiscent of a tenmoku tea bowl, the tall base and aromatic richness of a Burgundy glass, and the insulating properties of wood, which ensure it stays cool to the touch even when filled with boiling water.Not only can it be
used as a teacup, but its versatile design also makes it suitable as a small bowl or sake cup for various purposes.

木杯の把手は、あえて指を通さない形になっています。それはフランス文化における食作法では、とても大切にされている習慣です。味や香りの豊かさを存分に堪能するためには、指先の扱いにも繊細さを必要とする思想が背景にあるためです。結果として、杯を握る指先まで美しい形に整うのです。
The handle of the wooden cup is deliberately designed so that fingers cannot pass through it. This reflects a custom that is highly valued in French dining culture. The underlying philosophy emphasizes the need for delicacy in the use of fingertips to fully savor the richness of taste and aroma. As a result, even the fingertips holding the cup take on a beautiful and refined form.

「瓔珞」茶筅筒 123×48 ㎜.
“Yohraku“ Chasen holder
瓔珞とは仏像の頭上に輝いている寺院装飾や仏の装身具のことを指す。修行者の開悟した感覚を視覚化しようとして生まれた形と思われるが、この小作の最初の注文主より、この尊い命銘を頂いた。
"Yōraku" refers to the temple ornaments and sacred adornments of Buddhas, often seen shining above their heads. These forms are thought to have emerged as an attempt to visually represent the awakened senses of spiritual practitioners. The name for this humble creation was graciously bestowed upon it by its first esteemed patron, imbuing it with a sacred essence."
